  • These condos are non-smoking (including on the lanai), per Hawaii law.
  • NO Pets.
  • Check-in and check-out times are necessary to allow our cleaning staff adequate time to clean the unit and do laundry to prepare for our next guests. Check-in time is 4pm. Check-out time is 11am.
  • The cleaning fee is a one time charge (variable depending on condo booked). Cleaning occurs after your departure. Please contact us for quotes if cleaning is desired during your stay.

1. Late Check-out

2. Payment

  • Room Rates are in US dollars.
  • We will accept a cheque or you can pay with a credit card. (Bounced checks will incur a $30 charge.) We do accept credit cards using Stripe as the Processor.
  • Payment is subject to addition of Hawaii Taxes of 17.96% which will be itemized, unless the rate is advertised as “includes taxes”.
  • $400 deposit required within 7 days of reservation or reservation will be cancelled. This deposit will be refunded 7 days post check out.
  • Full payment must be received 90 days prior to reserved arrival date or reservation may be cancelled.
  •  If the booking is made within the 90-day period, both deposit and room fees are required upon booking.
  •  When you book with paradisefoundonmaui.com you will avoid any commissions that are associated with the other Vacation Rental Platforms. As Owners of a Vacation Rental for that last 10 years, we strive to ensure your stay with us will be exceptional. We have 275+ 5 Star on Airbnb
  • If you are booking through VRBO.com directly, you will follow their directions.  You will also incur the VRBO “Service Fee” (reported as 5-12% by VRBO).
  • If local or State taxes change after booking or after payment, we reserve the right to modify Taxes due, and collect (or refund) additional taxes as appropriate.

3. Cancellation Policy

  • Reservations cancelled 45 days or more prior to your arrival will receive a full refund of the reservation monies. Reservations cancelled 14-30 days in advance of your arrival will receive a refund of 50%. Reservations cancelled less than14 days prior to your arrival will receive NO refund. NOTE: early departure is treated the same as cancellation.
  • Credit card payments: If a reservation is cancelled, any issues around fees or delays around the refund must be taken up with the Credit Card Company and refunds due cancellation will not include any credit card transaction fees.
  •  All payments and refunds are in US$. We are not responsible for any lost money due to changes in the US$ exchange rate between the time of your payment and the time of your refund.
  • Hurricane/Storm policy: Any cancellations due to a Natural Disasters will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
We require the names of those in your party, home addresses, and contact phone numbers to satisfy Hawaii state regulations.
The owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities. Renters and their guests assume responsibilities and liability for the use of any and all recreational equipment found within the condominium (boogey boards, mask/snorkel, fins, beach umbrellas, etc), whether such equipment is supplied by the owners or left behind by prior guests. The owners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or from use by others whom they invite to use the premises.
